Prokofiev - Piano Concerto no.3
Bruckner - Symphony no.4

Enoch Wong piano
Robert Max conductor

Prokofiev's 3rd piano concerto provides a wide variety of entertainment, with rhapsody, playfulness, a stately march, balletic tunes and crackling energy, possibly evoking the odd dash of vodka mixed in? It is played for us by Enoch Wong.

Bruckner's 4th symphony begins in a dreamy and medieval romantic style with a lone horn call from deep inside a forest. Further themes throughout the symphony conjure up more medieval themes: knights on proud horses, city towers, hunting in fairy-tale forests.
