Support us
The importance of donations
The cost of presenting large scale musical works, is very considerable. Although Oxford Symphony Orchestra members pay subscriptions our concerts are not self-financing.
Our aim to inspire and entertain, to enhance classical musical opportunities in Oxford through rehearsal and performance of large symphonic works, is therefore founded on the support and generosity of volunteers, players, our soloists and other professionals.
We are especially grateful for the assistance we receive from individual donors.
How you can help
We operate on a tight budget so quite modest regular or once-off financial donations make a real difference.
£25 provides a presentation bouquet for a soloist
£100 provides a bursary to meet the cost of a subsidised student player annual subscription
£150 can cover the hire cost of a set of orchestral parts
If you would like to support us by donating please contact the OSO Chair (chair@oxfordsymphonyorchestra.org.uk).
Patrons and Sponsors
Give £200 or more and become a Patron.
The orchestra's developmental projects benefit particularly from the generous assistance of our individual patrons and corporate sponsors. Patrons receive our Friends e-Newsletter, invitations to occasional special events, two free tickets to each concert and reserved seats in a preferred area of the hall, a free copy of concert programmes and acknowledgement in printed programmes and/or orchestra website.
For further details of Patrons and Sponsor support, please contact the OSO Chair (chair@oxfordsymphonyorchestra.org.uk).
Acknowledgements
